"Bazzin - A superlative used in the Manchester area it means great fantastic excellent." (Urban dictionary)Doing a fair amount of walking in an area not normally numbered among the arid regions of the globe, a water-resistant outer garment is most useful. Alas, I find most I have tried to be either too short (maybe better for dashing in and out of a motor car), too permeable or, far too hot. Even 'breathable' fabric is useful only for short periods of time.I've been deligted with this coat, which offers excellent value and which shrugs off a deluge better than most. This is not a padded, warm coat but, the shoulder cape is most effective, the neck, arms and chest are protected while. the long flanks minimise soaking of the trouser area (albeit the inner thighs can still be moistened!). All in all a splendid item, which I hope will, with care and wax treatment, remain serviceable for a long time to come.
