I am a big fan of old school Atari games. I already had a 2600+ and a 400 Mini, but the Gamestation caught my interest because it also has over three-dozen Atari arcade games included. I was a bit leery because the included controllers look rather clunky and awkward.I received mine, fired it up, and immediately played several games, including Asteroids, Sky Raiders, and I, Robot. I also tried out some 5200, 7800, and 2600 games. The controllers actually work reasonably well. I thought I noticed a slight bit of lag, so I picked up a USB-C to USB-C cable to connect the controller directly to the console. The emulation is quite decent, and I am pleased with the GSP.I did spend some time downloading and installing the 1.3 firmware update. It requires a Windows PC and perhaps a bit of tech savvy. Once this is installed, there are some improvements, and it's worth doing.I have also side-loaded a number of 2600, 5200, 7800, and arcade games, and most (about 95%) run well.Overall, it is a real treat for Atari fans.
